Lukas was admitted to the bar in 2014. Since then, he has been dealing exclusively with insolvency and restructuring law issues.
From 2014 to 2018, Lukas worked for one of the leading insolvency administration firms in Germany, most recently also as an appointed insolvency administrator. In this capacity, he independently supervised the insolvency proceedings of German companies and corporations from the application procedure to the submission of the final court report. Lukas has broad experience in the continuation and restructuring of companies in various industries or business areas, e. g. retail, gastronomy, plant construction or service industry. A further focus of his consulting activities lies in the preparation and execution of M&A transactions, in particular in the context of so-called transferable restructurings.
In 2017, Lukas spent three months in a secondment with a law firm in the Cayman Islands, where he gained insights into the insolvency administration of offshore companies, such as funds and investment companies.
From 2018 to 2019 Lukas studied in the “Master of Business Administration – MBA” programme at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, in Edinburgh and Dubai.
