Stephan is a founding partner of FINKENHOF. In 2004 he was admitted to the bar in Frankfurt. His main focus is insolvency law as well as insolvency related banking law. Stephan advises shareholders and corporate bodies (managing directors, executive board members and supervisory board members) as well as insolvency administrators on all matters of restructuring and reorganization processes.
In 2008, Stephan joined WELLENSIEK, where he focused his consulting activities on the preparation and conduction of self-administration (Eigenverwaltung) and protective shield proceedings (Schutzschirmverfahren). Stephan started his professional career at Frankfurter Sparkasse, a subsidiary of the Helaba banking group, where he spent several years in the restructuring department handling, inter alia, distressed loans.
